What if a book is on “backorder” on the website?
Backordered books are temporarily out of stock in the warehouse, but we will likely receive another publisher shipment very soon. During the busy back-to-school season books quickly move on and off our shelves, and the backorder status displayed on the website is real-time. Please still place your order for a backordered book, it will likely still ship with your order in the regular timeframe. If it does not, you will receive notice of the status.
