FAQ ABOUT BOOK BUYBACK

Q: WHY DO YOU BUY SOME BOOKS BACK AND NOT OTHERS?
A: We buy textbooks at the current market value if one or more of the following criteria are met:
  • The textbook has been ordered for the next term.
  • It is in resaleable condition-make sure you bring any accompanying CD with the book.
  • Used books are permitted for that class.
  • We don't already have all that we need.
  • It can be used at another college.
When a textbook goes into a new edition, the previous edition usually no longer has a market value, and so it won't be bought back. Publishers generally produce new editions on a two or three year cycle.
