Ship or Store Pickup?

If you're ordering from a bookstore site that has a brick-and-mortar location, you may be provided the option of having your item(s) shipped or picking them up in-store. Picking it up in store saves you the cost of shipping and any appropriate shipping taxes while shipping your item(s) can save you time.

How much will it cost to ship my order?

Simply check out our convenient shipping information page to determine the cost for shipping your order.

How long will it take to get my order?

Orders placed with individual bookstores usually take 1-2 business days to pick and pack for shipment. Business days are defined as Monday through Friday, with the exception of certain holidays. Once the order has been picked and packed, it will be sent via ground, second day or next day delivery. Please check with the individual bookstore(s) for specific policy information and delivery options.

My order status reads that it is fulfilled, but I have not received my books. Can I check the shipping status of my order, as well?

Look for a tracking number in the order details under the Order History section of your account.

To get there, click the "Your Account" link from efollett.com or the bookstore site to access your account. Log in using your email address and password and click the order history link. You will see a list of your previous orders and the current status of each. Click directly on the order number that we gave you at the time of your purchase to view the details of that order. Click on the tracking number and the tracking system will tell you exactly where your order is en route.

For returns of item(s) purchased from a bookstore partner website or a different bookstore within the efollett.com network, then please check their website for details. The return policies may vary.

I have an APO/FPO address. How do I fill out the address?

To send your package to an APO/FPO address is easy. When completing your Shipping Address during checkout, please make note of the following:

1. The Country must be "United States";
2. The City must be entered as either "APO" or "FPO";
3. The State must be selected as either "Armed Forces America" "Armed Forces Europe" or "Armed Forces Pacific;"
4. You must enter your Zip code; and
5. Always remember to enter your full name, grade, and PSC or unit number. PLEASE NOTE: All orders going to APO/FPO addresses will be sent via USPS.

I need to send my order to an International PO box address. Can you ship it?

Currently we are NOT able to send orders to International PO box address. Orders with International PO box addresses will be deleted. Please use an alternate address for your SHIP To: address. Please contact a customer service representative with questions.

Shipping Policies

We make every effort to pull and ship all in-stock items within 48 hours of receiving your order. Orders are pulled at approximately 8:00 AM EST. Monday-Friday. Every effort is made to ship weekday orders the same day. NO ITEMS ARE SHIPPED ON WEEKENDS. ORDERS PLACED LATE ON FRIDAY WILL BE SHIPPED THE FIRST BUSINESS DAY FOLLOWING THE WEEKEND. Orders placed after 8:00 AM will usually be pulled the following day, as it can take up to 24 hours for orders to cycle through our system. However, during busy University times such as Book Rush, Buyback, or other high in-store traffic periods, shipments may be delayed without notice.

All clothing and gift merchandise is shipped from our store in Huntington, WV. FedEx Ground generally has a 3-5 business day delivery window in the Continental US. Some locations may take longer (please check with FedEx if you are unsure regarding delivery time to your location). Please note there is NO SATURDAY DELIVERY available. If you are needing an item expedited, you should contact us at 1-800-547-1262 before ordering to make sure it will be possible.

As we are using FedEx, any shipments to PO boxes will be shipped GROUND via the US Postal Service, regardless of method chosen, so therefore we prefer you use a street address.

We DO NOT ship to residence halls on campus. If you choose to have your order shipped to a residence hall, we will process the order without the shipping charges, and you will need to come to the store to pick it up. Books not picked up within 28 days will be refunded and reshelved. Alternately, books will be refunded to a gift card which will be held for you to claim.

HOLIDAY SHIPPING: The Bookstore will be closed December 23rd through December 27th. We will do our best to make sure you get your in-stock items by Christmas. To receive in-stock items for Christmas via GROUND shipping, orders must be received by December 14th. Last day for SECOND DAY shipment is December 18th. For NEXT DAY, December 21st. Orders will be pulled and shipped on December 22nd, but we in no way guarantee they will arrive in time for Christmas. International orders must be placed by December 10th (please see details below).

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: All international packages are shipped via the US Postal Service, and, barring delays in customs, arrive within 6-10 business days. There is no expedited shipping method available, as it is excessively costly. Due to the structure of the ordering system, there are no shipping charges calculated at the time of order. International shipping charges are regular domestic shipping prices plus $10.00. You will not be contacted about this additional charge; it will be automatically added to your order.


Ordering from the efollett.com portal site? We do NOT currently offer any products or services through efollett.com. For the best selection of textbooks, clothing, gifts, supplies and more, visit one of the over 900 virtual or brick-and-mortar bookstore sites.

Shipping Rates

PLEASE NOTE: shipping charges are assessed per bookstore vendor. This means that shopping from multiple bookstores, efollett and/or our partner bookstore vendors will have their own charges applied to them.

Shipments to and from Alaska & Hawaii

If your SHIP TO: address is in the same state (e.g. Alaska to Alaska, Hawaii to Hawaii) as our location, the applicable shipping rates below will be calculated and displayed separately during the checkout process.

If your SHIP TO: address and our location are in different states (e.g., California to Alaska or Hawaii to Illinois), please select "Next Business Day" or "Second Day" as your preferred shipping method. Additional charges may be added to the rates shown below during the checkout process.

Canada and other International orders?

For orders with international destinations, at time of checkout, no shipping or taxes will be applied. The appropriate shipping charges and applicable taxes will be communicated to you separately for your approval. Once you have provided us with your approval, your order will be processed. Please allow for additional time to complete the order.
