Ship or Store Pickup?
Since we are the Stanford Bookstore online, you have the option of having your item(s) shipped or picked them up in-store. Picking it up in the store saves you the cost of shipping and any appropriate shipping taxes while shipping your item(s) can save you time.
How much will it cost to ship my order?

How long will it take to get my order?
Orders can be fulfilled from one of 2 locations - the bookstore or one of our vendor partners. Provided your item(s) are in stock, the order preparation process takes 1-2 business days to get the order ready for shipment.
My order status reads that it is fulfilled, but I have not received my books. Can I check the shipping status of my order, as well?
Look for a tracking number in the order details under the Order History section of your account.
To get there, click the "Your Account" link from efollett.com or the bookstore site to access your account. Log in using your email address and password and click the order history link. You will see a list of your previous orders and the current status of each. Click directly on the order number that we gave you at the time of your purchase to view the details of that order. Click on the tracking number and the tracking system will tell you exactly where your order is en route.

For returns of item(s) purchased from a bookstore partner website or a different bookstore within the efollett.com network, then please check their website for details. The return policies may vary.
I have an APO/FPO address. How do I fill out the address?
To send your package to an APO/FPO address is easy. When completing your Shipping Address during checkout, please make note of the following:
- The Country must be "United States";
- The City must be entered as either "APO" or "FPO";
- The State must be selected as either "Armed Forces America" "Armed Forces Europe" or "Armed Forces Pacific;"
- You must enter your Zip code; and
- Always remember to enter your full name, grade, and PSC or unit number. PLEASE NOTE: All orders going to APO/FPO addresses will be sent via USPS.
I need to send my order to an International PO box address. Can you ship it?
Currently we are NOT able to send orders to International PO box address. Orders with International PO box addresses will be deleted. Please use an alternate address for your SHIP To: address. Please contact a customer service representative with questions.
Shipping Policies
Orders placed usually take 1-2 business days to pick and pack for shipment. Business days are defined as Monday through Friday, with the exception of certain holidays. Once the order has been picked and packed, it will be sent via ground, second day or next day delivery. Please see the shipping page for specific policy information and delivery options.

Shipping Rates
PLEASE NOTE: shipping charges are assessed per vendor. This means that shopping from our site and our partner vendors will have their own charges applied to them.
Shipments to and from Alaska & Hawaii
If your SHIP TO: address and the vendor(s) you're ordering from are in the same state (e.g. Alaska to Alaska, Hawaii to Hawaii), the applicable shipping rates will be calculated and displayed separately during the checkout process.
If your SHIP TO: address and the vendor(s) you're ordering from are in different states (e.g., California to Alaska or Hawaii to California), please select "Next Business Day" or "Second Day" as your preferred shipping method. An additional $10.00 will automatically be added to the shipping charge.
Canada and other International orders?
For orders with international destinations, at time of checkout, no shipping or taxes will be applied. The appropriate shipping charges and applicable taxes will be communicated to you separately for your approval. Once you have provided us with your approval, your order will be processed. Please allow for additional time to complete the order.
