Help/FAQ:  Sell Your Textbooks

Condition We can only buy back books that are in good condition. "Good condition" means that all pages, bindings, and covers are intact and complete. Pages should not be torn, missing, marked up or highlighted excessively so that the print is obscured. Textbooks with water damage, stains, and/or pages sticking together are not considered in "good condition."

Inclusion of Accompanying Materials - If you received a textbook with supplementary materials (study guide, CD, diskette, etc.), you must return those materials with the textbooks if you want to receive the full buyback value for your textbook. These materials will be listed on your original packing slip. For example, if the packing slip shows your textbook was shipped "(w/CD)" or "(w/Diskette)", you must return the CD/diskette with the book. If the packing list shows "(Set: Text/SG)", you must return the textbook and the study guide to receive the full buyback value.

While you get the most money selling your books back to the individual bookstores, you can also sell them back to efollett.com. You can sell your books back on efollett.com 24/7/365. Simply click over to the efollett.com homepage, and click on the Cash for Books link for details.

NOTE: You cannot sell back a rental book unless you have converted it to a purchased book.
