What is a plate charge?The imprinted supply vendors charge a plate fee for new artwork. If you want to add School of, Department, etc. to existing artwork, the plate charge will apply and will be included in the cost of your order. These can range from $55 to $60.
Why does my order cost more than the suggested retail listed on the site?Price varies depending on number of imprint colors, stitch counts, quantity ordered, and number of locations.
The item I'm looking for is not on the website.If you are unable to find what you are looking for, please contact us for more options and information through the contact link at the bottom of the page.
Does my order have to meet the vendor minimums?Yes. Minimums are part of a pre-arranged agreement with each vendor. Special Orders are not exempt from this agreement.
 
Will the vendor ship directly to me?The following vendors drop ship: Campus Crystal, Nichols and Stone, Standard Chair, Framing Success, and Eglomise. If your order is coming from another vendor, then it will be shipped to the bookstore, and the store will inform you that your order has arrived.
What is lead-time?Lead-time is the estimated time it will take a vendor to produce and ship an order. We cannot guarantee an delivery date that falls before a vendors lead time. Please note that lead-times vary by vendor.
 
Having problems completing an order?
If you are having problems completing an order, most likely, you need to update your settings to accept session cookies. For browser specific instructions reference the Browser Issues section.
Having problems checking out?
You may need to clear the cache memory on your computer and/or update your browser settings to accept cookies. For browser specific instructions on making these changes be sure to check out the appropriate section of the FAQ's.
What is a cookie?
A "cookie" is a small data file transferred by a website to your computer's hard drive when you surf a site, make purchases, request or personalize information, or register yourself for certain services. Cookies are typically classified as either "session" cookies or "permanent" cookies.

  • "Session" cookies do not stay on your computer after you leave a website or close your browser. This type of cookie can aggregate information collected and permits the site to analyze traffic patterns. And, over time, the information can be used to provide a better experience on the site by improving content or personalization resulting in a site that is easier to use.
  • "Permanent" cookies are those that remain on your computer. They are used to facilitate shopping, personalization and registration services. For example, cookies can keep track of what you have selected to purchase as you continue to shop and allow you to enter your password only once on Web pages where a login is required. "Permanent" cookies can be manually removed by the user.

Most browsers automatically accept cookies by default, but you can usually refuse cookies or selectively accept certain cookies by adjusting the preferences in your browser.
Does the efollett.com network use cookies?
The efollett.com portal and bookstore sites use both session and permanent cookies. The session cookies allow us to hold the items that you have selected in your shopping cart while you continue to browse. We also use a session cookie in our ebookstore to enhance the search result performance. The permanent cookies allow us to provide you with a safe, smooth, efficient, and customized experience. As described above, the session cookie at the end of your shopping session is removed.

Please note: If you turn off cookies, there may be some features of our site that will not be available to you and some Web pages may not display properly.

If you use AOL as your Internet Service Provider, we recommend you use Internet Explorer or Netscape as your browser. This is due to some recent changes in the AOL browser. If you do not have one of these browsers you may download it by clicking on the following links:

Internet Explorer Issues and Questions
I am having problems accessing the site...
 
...and I am using Internet Explorer 5.
 
To update your browser settings in IE 5:
 
  1. Click Tools, then Internet Options.
  2. Click the Security Tab.
  3. Click the Internet zone.
  4. Click Custom Level, scroll to the Cookie Section.
  5. Click Enable for both cookie options.
 
To update your cache settings in Internet Explorer, in the Internet Options window:
 
  1. Click the General Tab.
  2. Under the Temporary Internet Files, click the Settings button.
  3. Under the heading, "Check for newer versions of stored pages:" select "Every visit to the page"
  4. Click OK to close the Settings window.
  5. Click OK to close the Internet Options Window.
 
...and I am using Internet Explorer 4.x.
 
To update your browser settings in IE 4.x:
 
  1. Click the View Menu from the toolbar.
  2. Click Internet Options.
  3. Click the Advanced Tab.
  4. Scroll to the Security Section.
  5. Under cookies, click Always accept cookies.
AOL Issues and Questions
I am having problems accessing the site and...
 
...I am using Internet Explorer/AOL.
 
(Note: AOL Software uses Microsoft IE as its default browser.) To update your browser settings in IE/AOL,
 
  1. Click on Start from your Windows 95/98 taskbar.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Click on Control Panel.
  4. Click on the Internet Icon. The Internet Properties window should appear.
  5. Click on the Advanced Tab.
  6. Scroll down until you see the Cookies Icon. Choose either "Prompt before accepting cookies" or "always accept cookies"
  7. After you have selected the appropriate Cookie Preference, click on the Apply button.
  8. Click on the OK
 
Note: Internet Explorer 3.02 does not allow you to disable cookies, only to be warned prior to accepting them. To edit the settings so that you receive the warning, follow the directions below:
 
  1. Click on Start.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Click on Control Panel.
  4. Click on the Internet Icon. The Internet Properties window should appear.
  5. Click on the Advanced Tab.
  6. Click with your mouse to select the box left of "Warn before accepting Cookies."
  7. You will now have the option to decline each cookie offered by websites that you visit.
 
... I am using AOL 6.0.
 
To update your browser settings in AOL 6.0,
 
  1. Start AOL 6.0.
  2. There is a Settings Drop Down at the top of the screen (above URL field).
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Then select Preferences.
  5. A My AOL - Preferences window appears.
  6. Click on the Internet Properties (WWW). This opens up an AOL Internet Properties Window.
  7. Go to the Security tab, and set the security level for this zone by moving the slider from Medium to Medium-Low.
 
Note: If you continue to have problems with AOL, after signing on as usual, minimize your AOL browser and open up Internet Explorer or Netscape. These programs will run off of your AOL Internet connection.
 
 
...I am using AOL on a Mac.
 
To update your browser settings in AOL on a Mac,
 
  1. Go to My AOL, then click Preferences.
  2. Click on WWW.
  3. Go to Advanced Settings. In the left pane, click on Receiving Files, then in the right pane, click on Cookies, and choose Never Ask or Ask (if you would like a warning.)
