Required materials means that you will use the book regularly in your course and will be tested from material in that book.

Recommended materials means that the book listed will serve as an excellent resource for you now and after you graduate.

In some instances, you will see "Choose" listed in this grey box. If you see this message, you are not required to purchase all of the materials listed. In most cases, there is a textbook, study guide, and package listed. The textbook and the study guide make up the package. Ordering all of the items will result in you getting two copies of the textbook and study guide. When you see this message, pay particular attention to the pricing. Textbook Publishers often make the package price cheaper than if you purchased the other two books seperately.
